    Medicare Premium Payment Options

    Information on how to pay your premium online, by check, automatic withdrawal, and more.

    Select your plan type below to see your payment options. This information is for your monthly premium payment only. Learn more about the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan, a voluntary program that helps spread the payment of your prescription drug costs over the year.

    One-Time Online Payments

    Pay your monthly plan premium any time with our secure payment website available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    In order to make a payment, you will need your:

    • Cigna HealthcareSM ID card
    • 8- or 11-digit customer ID number
    • ZIP code
    • Date of birth
    • Credit or debit card number and expiration date or your checking or savings bank account number and routing number. (You do not have to be the bank account holder to make a payment, but you must be an authorized user on the bank account.)

    Three Ways to Sign Up or Update Automatic Payments

    Social Security or Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) Benefits Check Withdrawal

    Have your monthly plan premiums withdrawn from your Social Security check or your Railroad Retirement Board benefits check, so you never miss a payment.

    In order to set up a monthly plan withdrawal, you will need your:

    • Cigna Healthcare ID card
    • 8- or 11-digit customer ID number
    • ZIP code
    • Date of birth

    Sign up for monthly withdrawals

    Pay by Phone

    Make a payment with customer service assistance or by using our automated phone system at  (TTY 711).

    Pay by Check

    Mail your monthly premium payment directly to our plan with a check or money order along with the bottom portion of your invoice.

    These options are available for most Medicare Advantage Plans.

    Online Payments

    Log in or register on myCigna.com to access our online bill pay service. Once you’ve accessed the site, click on the “Pay Your Medicare Premium” button on the homepage.

    Automatic Payments

    Set it and forget it. Have your monthly premium set up to be automatically withdrawn from your bank account.

    Sign up for automatic premium payments through your myCigna account.

    Pay Using Social Security or Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) Benefits Check

    You can opt to have monthly plan premiums withdrawn from your Social Security check or your RRB benefits check, so you never miss a payment.

    To set up payment from Social Security or RRB, contact Customer Service at  (TTY 711) and we will help you.

    Pay by Check or Money Order

    You can opt to pay your plan premium by mailing a check or money order directly to your plan. You may pay monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Payment must be received by the last day of the month it’s due.

    Send your check or money order to the address on your monthly invoice. If you do not know your designated office, you can send to either of the addresses below. We'll make sure your payment processes correctly.

    Medicare Supplement Options

    Automatic Payments

    Set it and forget it. You can set up automatic payments for monthly, quarterly, semiannual or annual payments. You can select any draft date of your choice between the 1st and 28th of each month.

    There are 2 ways you can set up automatic payments:

    • Log in or register on myCigna.com to set up automatic payments.1
    • Contact Customer Service at , Monday – Friday, 8 am – 8 pm, ET and we will send you the necessary form to set up an electronic funds transfer (EFT).

    Direct Billing

    If you prefer to receive a paper bill, then you will need to set up a direct billing option. Direct billing is available for quarterly, semi-annual, or annual payments. Personal checks are accepted. (Note: Cash, money orders, and travelers checks are not accepted methods of payment.)

    Kansas Disclosures, Exclusions and Limitations

    Medicare Supplement Policy Forms: Plan A: CIC-MS-AA-A-KS, CIC-MS-AO-A-KS; Plan F: CIC-MS-AA-F-KS, CIC-MS-AO-F-KS; Plan G: CIC-MS-AA-G-KS, CIC-MS-AO-G-KS; Plan HDG: CIC-MS-AA-HDG-KS, CIC-MS-AO-HDG-KS; Plan N: CIC-MS-AA-N-KS, CIC-MS-AO-N-KS

    Exclusions and Limitations:

    The benefits of this policy will not duplicate any benefits paid by Medicare. The combined benefits of this policy and the benefits paid by Medicare may not exceed one hundred percent (100%) of the Medicare Eligible Expenses incurred. This policy will not pay benefits for the following:

    (1) the Medicare Part B Deductible;

    (2) any expense which You are not legally obligated to pay; or services for which no charge is normally made in the absence of insurance;

    (3) any services that are not medically necessary as determined by Medicare;

    (4) any portion of any expense for which payment is made by Medicare or other government programs (except Medicaid); or for which payment would have been made by Medicare if You were enrolled in Parts A and B of Medicare;

    (5) any type of expense not a Medicare Eligible Expense except as provided previously in this policy;

    (6) any deductible, Coinsurance or Co-payment not covered by Medicare, unless such coverage is listed as a benefit in this policy; or

    (7) Preexisting Conditions: We will not pay for any expenses incurred for care or treatment of a Preexisting Condition for the first six (6) months from the effective date of coverage. This exclusion does not apply if You applied for and were issued this policy under guaranteed issue status; if on the date of application for this policy You had at least six (6) months of prior Creditable Coverage; or, if this policy is replacing another Medicare Supplement policy and a six (6) month waiting period has already been satisfied. Evidence of prior coverage or replacement must have been disclosed on the application for this policy. If You had less than six (6) months prior Creditable Coverage, the Preexisting Conditions limitation will be reduced by the aggregate amount of Creditable Coverage. If this policy is replacing another Medicare Supplement policy, credit will be given for any portion of the waiting period that has been satisfied.
